THIS IS STRICTLY IMOH... for starters, your most likely gonna lose a ton of $$.  Most anything from these type of sellers tend to hype up a car and the buyers are mostly the newbies that jump into wanting a classic of sort,  and that can equal a big score for them.

Next... what direction are you wanting to go in?  A stock look or a Frankenstein look such as this one?

Right away you can see that shoddy work was already done just installing the emblems.  The "350" fender emblems are positioned wrong next to markers and the "Camaro" fender emblem is slanted (driver side, first pic)... so that at a quick glance has already scared me away, as well as the heater and a/c removed... just saying.

But if your close and you can view in person then do so.  If not I'd not buy anything site unseen..again, just me

Here you go Doc,  my fan clutch with the Eaton stamped into the metal.  Again, my understanding is that these were service replacements.

Here's a previous thread by HawkX66 (Dave) another member.  Discussing the stud placements as well as a stud gun tip (home made).

Also just for future reference, try using the search window at the bottom right of CRG's home page (showing the 3 Camaro's) as an overall search.  Or in the forum section each "Group Discussion Topic" will also have a search window at the top right.

Ex..discussion forum "Originality", type Vinyl top rivet

Hope this helps

I can't get my pics to post(to large). Can someone help?

Thanks, Doc.

You need to resize the picture.  There are several free sites that allow you to do this.  I use PicMonkey.com.  Another is befunky.com.  I'm sure there are several others.

If your still having trouble and unable, you can email them to me and I'll resize and post for you.

I have the same fan clutch the doomer posted on post #4 (3rd pic) with the word Eaton stamped into the metal.  From my understanding and what I've been told here on CRG that this/these were service replacements.  And that originals were ink stamped like Gary's (69Z28-RS) on post #12

I'm sure others will confirm.

Hello and welcome Buck,

Sorry for your loss of what appeared to be a GREAT friendship you had.

Is the block original as well as the rear and trans?  With all those yrs sitting and the previous owner before your frd I would think so.

More pics welcome.

General Discussion / Re: Heater core wA/C questions
« on: August 25, 2016, 01:17:06 PM »
Welcome..I think..lol

Sounds like your wanting to drop in a BB.  If so there's a few more things you'll need to change and that's the engine frame mounts and tweek the Trans cross member in case your unaware.

Yes the heater core is the same though the holes in the firewall are in a different location.  Just drill new holes and plug up the others.

The wheels and roll bar both being vintage may make them difficult to find or pricey if you do.  Only cause of those looking to restore a nostalgic drag car.

I have seen them out there but not the easiest to find.   I'd suggest CL, swap meets or ebay as your best chances.

Btw...I hope your wanting roll bar for the nostalgic look and not relying on it's safety...just saying   :D

Hope that helps

My guess is this Company gets a "Bonded Title" which is used when someone/firm has obtains a "Certificate of Title Surety Bond" in order to register a vehicle.

If not then give them a try and good luck.   But "IF SO", then it's a risk...IMHO !  As a bonded title is only temporary (some states can take up to 3 years) and if a lien or another issue (stolen) is found against the vehicle then you lose all..the money spent on the bond and the vehicle !

Try this. I do this when I have title problems or difficult people. It works, not a scam.

L78,
Just curious,  this is not a company offering "Bonded Titles" is it ?
Thanks

Looks like it went to a car show in New Mexico and never returned.  Seems to of once belonged to someone here.

Gary did you see the thread here on CRG in ference to the password changes that took place on camaro.net ?
If not,  you may want to check it out.  Camaro.net sent out emails to all members.  Yours may of went to your spam mail.
I believe at this point you'll need to contact admin over there and they'll help you reset it.

Hope that helps and welcome back.
