I guess that's why Instrument Services charge 350.00 to do a sender. Bob's Speedo is 400.00 to 700.00....Joe

I've only used the original GM. They pop up on e-bay from time to time. I collected enough to do both of my cars so I stopped looking for them....Joe

Non style trim cars are body colour. Style trim cars, that are rally green are painted black....Joe

If you're talking about the ball vents, all 68 Camaros had those. If it was a 67, that would be an A/C car....Joe

I'm not totally understanding your post. What year are you working with & is it LA or Norwood built? What pieces do you need to find?....Joe

If there's no hole in the subframe for the rod, then most likely the car didn't have a spoiler when new or the subframe got changed....Joe

Lots of GM parts were only flash chromed. I could see them doing that...Joe

There is most likely a rubber grommet that the wire runs through that mounts on the fire wall also

There is. It's part of the harness.....Joe

Passenger side of the fuse box, there is a dimple. I believe the hole size is 1/2". Hole was done by Fisher. That's why it's not in the AIMs book...Joe

Originality / Wire information about a power window or power top car
« on: March 14, 2024, 01:15:42 AM »
I have a friend installing power windows in his 69 coupe. There's a wire with a grommet that comes from the inside of the car, through the firewall & goes to the circuit breaker. I went though the AIMs book but couldn't come up with a definitive answer as to where that hole needs to be. Even the chart doesn't show that hole. Power top should have the same hole. It should be 1/2". Can anybody help please & tell me the location of that hole? Thank you, Joe
