That car is looking great Jim. I can see now that I need to redo my grill. Nice to see you have the end pieces that rivet to the grill. Lots of 68s are missing those after the years....Joe

The only thing I could think of is that it keeps it from rotating. That loop also might just be heavy enough to keep the wires in place.....Joe

Originality / Re: Template for AC vacuum Canister on Drivers side firewall

Thanks Joe, I was looking at the assembly manual and it calls for a 9428471 screw to mount the tank, but cannot find it anywhere on the internet.  Do you have a pic of the proper screw?

I doesn't look like I took a picture of it. Let me look tomorrow & I'll see if I can describe it....unless somebody has a known picture....Joe

I'm trying to help a friend with his 1969 convertible. He has a broken screw/bolt at the pivot near what would be a roof rail on a coupe. I can't find any drawings for the top in the parts books I have. I came up with a possible part number of 4412920 but it's hex. All the hardware on his car, & 3 other I looks at, were large slotted...kind of like a licence plate screw. Can anybody help me with a part number for the correct screw/bolt? I usually don't have this much problem with parts. Thank you, Joe

Nice. Did you get a picture of the trim tag? I'd like to see that also please. I would also say yes on it's a Z/28. Tach & gauges was an option, so if you didn't order them, you didn't get them. Looks like a February car.....Joe
