General Discussion / Understanding the specifics of 4P
« on: June 11, 2024, 02:13:08 PM »
While I thought 4P was for Fisher for body reinforcement, I'm in a Camaro group that is trying to state 4P was determining SS in 67.  I've read the CRG articles and all the discussions I could find.  But 4P on the tag predates the actual installation of the traction bar upgrade that was in December 66.  So what was actually the reason for 4P on the tag when it was on SS350, and Z28 and eventual mid year big block.

I know this an old post but I just replaced my exhaust and my 67 01C date, and has small holes on driver's side and passenger side.  There's no way riv nuts would have fit.

He states it now has 454 was originally a 427 has a turbo 400 and a 12 bolt 4.10 gear. He is now posting to sell the car. I'm not part of him selling it, I was only looking at the odd cowl tag

If the car is a COPO car does it really mean much? I mean I know 1969 cars are rare but what is a 1968 COPO car if it's not documented?

The owner states it is a SS car, but I'm not familiar with COPO , since I've never owned one nor seen one in person.

Me neither, didn't know if it could be a dealer installed option or screw up

Found this 68 on a Facebook post, claims original 51,000 mile paint and body, my question is how unusual is a driver's side rear antenna? Car is all original 6 cylinder convertible.

I've looked at the CRG options list and consider everything as fact, but saw this and am curious if it's an anomaly or  been proven.
