Great information to know guys, I only found the truth from this site as I consider the information here to be considered the truth. Based on the facts of your research and documentation.

67jeffreyt, you mentioned he sells cars, that says it all for me.

He's not selling, it's on a car for sale site on Facebook.  This particular person added his opinion on the car being a true ss with the 10 bolt rear end.

A fellow on another site for selling cars states that CRG is incorrect on a 68 Camaro SS 10 bolt rear.  Where as I stated information from this site that all true SS cars are 12 bolt rear cars.   His information is coming from a Hemmings article on how to find true SS 68 Camaros. He then states he knows for a fact because he owns two 68 SS Camaro 10 bolt rear cars.  I'm not one to argue, so why are there articles out there that are considered truth but incorrect and how does one go about politely passing true information to the owner?  I did invite him to this site to have his car researched.

My 67, it seems where the factory positive resistance wire sits naturally.

Probably so, the seller states it's an older woman original owner. So no clue

Craig's response, and the Muncie group is on Facebook, anyone can join, Craig Wright is the founder of the group.  It is Muncie 4 speed & GM manual transmissions buy sell trade, but it's a tech forum group.

In my Muncie group I believe it's just a press fit and the tail shaft gear can move, I will share your post in the group, the founder of the group is a professional Muncie rebuilder as his regular job.

I found a 67 Camaro for sale, has rear spoiler and one owner, that's why I was curious.   I'm not looking to buy only just inquiring on Camaro facts, and options. Car has rear fold down seat and tach and gauges, but is a standard model 327, automatic convertible.

I looked for any old posts, but was 67 Camaro dealer installed spoiler possible?  I know it wasn't an option, but was it ever available from the dealer at any time? Would it have been possible to add by dealer after 68, or just a body shop modification?

My 67 is a January car still identified as a SS 350, I read that when the mid year 396 debuted the car badges were changed to SS.  My tag on the fire wall is original and the my rivets don't look the same as yours.
