Sorry Chick,  I thought it was nearer to mine, but today I was running back thru all the photos and the only trim plate I saw was a 10C... post 86.. was that for a different car?

Yes! There had been questions about the underside of the cowl air cleaner and that is another local car Garnet Red from Ammon R Smith and the post prior showed the window sticker from that car. During that span we showed with a mirror the underside of that air cleaner!
First post in thread states the 09D, but can understand the confusion so here we go Gary!

I was wrong about the cowl hood being a 'significant' weight addition (checking the tables it only adds 1 lb)..  but Power Steering adds 30 lbs, and HD battery adds 18 lbs....  Note: The RS package adds 23 lbs.
See the data here:   http://camaros.org/images/pages/chassis/69_spring_chart.pdf

My Oct 68 10B RS/Z has EY springs. Originally Flat hood, and power steering. Would think RS would have different springs than non RS?

I think there's an 80 to 100 lb range of weights that got the EY front springs...

Mike, clear zinc or what many refer to as silver zinc. Just to clarify, this incredible survivor belongs to a good friend (Skip) and unfortunately is not in my garage dang it. This car will be at the solid lifter display outside gate one at Carlisle's GM Nationals.

If you are still able to take some pics and you have a chance, I'd love to see some pics of the diff cover, including a detail shot of the brake line block/bracket and bolt. Also a pic of the brake backing plates (the side facing the diff) would be great. Thanks!

We are excited to announce that this car will be joining us at MCACN to be Vintage Certified. This is a great opportunity to see the car up close at the show. We have a 68 Z28 (member here) that we look forward to certifying as well. We also have a 4300 mile 70 Chevelle LS6 and 11 other cars.

Yes and we have several other cars with ultra low mileage as well. How about a 1969 Hemi Super Bee with 3600 miles.
