Sounds like the float is the issue.

In the front of the AIM it will state which fluid. My 68 calls for ATF.

Sounds like the ignition switch assy is worn out and not disconnecting the electrical circuit internally.

IIRC, the Delco oil filter number for 68 is only for 68. 69 is different.

So the obvious issue I see is a 1968 L VIN plate in the dash for a 1969 N Camaro. Pictures show as such.

Because you asked…..95% of the pictures are redundant exterior and interior. You have no pictures of the VIN, Trim Tag or engine alternator pad, transmission, rear axle numbers  and you or anything else that would lend to a numbers matching -or not-drive train. Considering you took a video, I’m surprised.

If you had a video of the entire car, that would be a better package. Looks nice.

This much I can attest to, there is a guy in Pennsylvania who buys oil filters, strips them, and repaints them correctly for Concours cars-Wix. More expensive, better filters. I already used them on my car.

I find issues with the description vs pictures

Is there a product I can put parts in to give them new life before they become hard and crumbly?
