IIRC,  the rivets should have some sealer over them....some more than others....some with fingerprints.

I kinda like it...not much actual use, but has a "Le Mans" look to it.

Is there one? I have a NOS and am selling it. It's at a friends house and I'm nowhere close. If so, where would it be? I found nothing in the "search" box that helped.
Thank you in advance.

Rocco,
You're one of the few I now know who did research  BEFORE deciding whether or not to buy the car. Good for you. Which is worse? Hurt feelings or bank account? 🤔🤔🤔 At least you have experience now. I am curious about the car and what red flagged it.

The term “Matching numbers” (as far back as 1979 or so when i first heard it) means the engine/trans stamped numbers match the car VIN.
Rocco, did someone get their feelings hurt?

Since you asked, there is no “Spirit” for this. There is only fact.
Matching numbers=What the car was equipped with as it rolled off the assembly line. The closest thing to that is a documented part replaced under warranty.

I’m wondering like my friends why the vacuum port design was changed. Of all the things we wish were cosmetically correctly when reproduced, why this wasn’t. I also posted pictures also on Team C.
It was damaged, so I cut it open. There is a rubber diaphragm sandwiched between the plates at the bottom.
