Literally just type it in your browser....everyone sells them.

GM typically combines other application models to 1 common part number. The parts manual is for service parts.

Homework pays off.

I have the 62-72 book. 2000+pages double sided. You parts guys won't easily forget Microfishe.

Restoration / Re: 68 Camaro Restoration Plan - Bodywork costs.

I would suggest taking measurements between the body and ground, like shown in the AIM.

A resurrection for this thread. This is from my friend Lee’s unrestored 67. My parts book also shows 67-69 use as Bert stated. It appears I will soon have an original to have 3d printed. The ones on my 68 are long gone, so another small detail to add.

The real value in a Z28 is the engine if originality is what you seek. Solid lifters and a high rpm setup…yea!

I’m know what an absolutely gorgeous restoration looks like, because I’ve seen many. I’m uncertain what “workable” translates to you. Is the car fully restored or not?

I would say that’s an erroneous statement because the small block was only available in just one hp rating. The 396 had 4 different versions.

Kurt,
Do the 68/9 NOT cars did not have the under coat? I know the 67 did.

Thanks Kurt! Those pictures are fantastic and the details are very easy to see. A few of the 6 cylinder pics are nice! Us 6 banger guys will appreciate them. I also like the other cars.

Originality / Re: Door hinge/window regulator grease
« on: February 15, 2024, 12:07:13 AM »
Use the white lithium sparingly as a little goes a long way. Work it in before adding more of needed.
For the hood  hinge lube, my friend had tried every lubricant on the market for his 72 W30 442. I sprayed it on a told him to be careful,  because it will work or I'm buying the beer. The next phone call was that he thought he broke his front teeth and nose because he's so used to having to slam it shut, and he smashed his face from the momentum.  He drew blood, but nothing could make him and uglier so no worries there. 😆😆
