General Discussion / Fly me to the moon movie

Channing Tatum drives a 67 SS Convertible, there’s a bunch of car scenes and it’s a good movie. Watch the trailer and decide for yourself.

Do you mean cosmetically correct to factory delivery? As in replacing the valve covers hold downs, fuel filter, etc?

It’s hard to see if any work has been done on the heads without pictures inside the valve entry area. Some of those push rods have been reinstalled 180 by looking at them. Probably makes no difference….I’ll let the engine pros chime in.

My point exactly. Picture shows proper orientation, NOT. It appears there are many errors in the manual and I speculate nobody outside the judging circle of trust read it before print. I would go with the printed instructions and not the picture.

Pretty sure there is 1 supplier for most of the reproduction parts in most cases. You'll have to make the best of it. Take your time and trim it Pretty.

Here’s a 3d plastic printed version. I’m trying to find a local printer for a metal part for authenticity visuals, and no work required to sand out the 3d lines.

I have the STL file and can get one 3d printed if you need. Plastic is cheap, but I’m trying to source a metal printer. PM me if you want  to discuss further.

Indy: I find it interesting there is no spacing on the stamp. Probably because it was stamped with something.

Can't repeat: Definitely a different font. It appears an8 band stamper with letter on the end are applicable some of the time.

The original one quit sometime in the late 80s, and I had a service replacement installed. I picked up this one from Pace Car Jeff last summer.

Definitely different fonts and I'm thinking the stamp wasn't given much thought,  as long as it made it on the part.
