What are these parts on a 69 convertible ?
1 each in the trunk rear corners & one in the rh front fender

I can see why with some sort of oil in them, they are not connected to anything, some sort of anti vibration thing?

Yes, filled with ATF and has a drilled cyl between springs to help with cowl shake on verts.  You need them, keep them and restore with car. Very expensive to replace as they are not reproduced and they are unique to car and year.

Should be four. One in each corner. Best of luck finding #4! They do still turn up once in a while (but scarce)

There are six different listings on Marketplace now for cocktail shakers. And that's just in new england.
