Does anyone have a picture (front and rear) of an original? Was there more than 1 supplier?
Thanks, Doc.

Top is OE '69. Bottom is GMPD substitute up to the '90s.

Try these. I apologize for the scroungy appearance - off my X77, disassembled in 1980 or so. Front, back and part number stamp. The original bolts are on the bracket, marked with a single "P".

I think at least 2 suppliers is likely, many have AAc stamped on them but I have also seen them stamped with a triangle symbol containing a letter (including the one on my LA car).

Mine is exactly like Steve's (z28 z11). Norwood built 8/28/1969....Joe

I looked at the other 2 - the 03D Pace Car is like the 01C X77 - stamped GM and part number. The 12A '68 built L78 is different - lot of surface rust, appears either to be an AAc or triangle marking, I'll have to give it a bath in Evaporust or the old electrolysis routine to be sure, but it is different. All were built in Norwood, might be a vendor change somewhere in the first part of the year at Norwood. Need more examples to find a pattern -

I'd say you're right at 60% gloss - definitely more gloss than many of the supplier parts. Here are photos of my original bracket (partially stripped for paint) from my 2B Norwood RS/Z:

Great to see another 'P' in a triangle, Lloyd - and clearly not just an LA plant supplier then!

Tim and Lloyd,

Triangle/P on the same bracket with the GM part number stamp as well ? What area does it appear in ?
