I looked at a X77 car today that was a mid February build, the motor stamp was V0218DZ and the heads were late December 68. Do these dates look good?

Cool, just heard of a couple others can't figure out why even if it's a restamp, why there's a T? What would be more important? Vin or engine stamp?

Thanks for the info on this car!  Are we absolutely positive that there should not be a Tonawanda built 302?

This picture was taken last week. In the process of detailing under chassis and drivetrain, checking part numbers and date codes. Besides the partial Vin what other stamps or marks would there be on the block?

Date code on 618 block is 2 24 9.
