Try Steele Rubber. I've spoken with them about a 57 Chevy I'm doing.

1 each in the trunk rear corners & one in the rh front fender
Should be four. One in each corner. Best of luck finding #4! They do still turn up once in a while (but scarce)
Quote from: BillOhio on May 24, 2025, 11:41:00 AMThey've been on Marketplace often in the last six months. and as recently as yesterday. I'd have to locate the ad.
This is an old thread but I am looking for a mint set of N96 wheel covers and seeing some that look black and some that look silver.
I believe the 66-67 ones had a raised center part compared to the older ones but not sure if I need black spokes or natural
Quote from: KurtS on February 07, 2025, 10:12:36 PMI put that on a customer's car and the builder ran it on the dyno. Generally he uses Crane. I'd use Breakerless if and when I get rid of the points distributor I've been running for over 75K miles. It's only one wire so it appears more stock for those who prefer it, which does not concern me.
I was looking at Lectric Limited's conversion kit: https://www.lectriclimited.com/product/breakerless-se-electronic-ignition-conversion-7/
The Crane set-up looks interesting.
I've seen an HEI squeezed in there, but I think how much room depends on the engine mounts.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the great information.
Quote from: william on January 15, 2025, 09:12:39 AMI recently sold an original 68-69 console and the plastic was ivory, not molded in black.
Consoles were molded in black plastic. Only the lid and ash tray cover were painted.
Green, blue and red consoles were painted to match.
Quote from: MO on December 10, 2024, 02:06:34 AM69s were torch cut. 67 and 68 were punched with a reinforcement ring spot welded underneath.Quote from: paulsec on December 09, 2024, 11:34:15 AM
The factory used a torch to cutout the 4 speed transmission hole in the floorpan
Again, no.
Quote from: 70z28lt1 on November 22, 2024, 10:29:46 AMNegative. The moldings the OP is referring to are stainless with flash chrome. Other moldings on the car are aluminum. Plenty of palces restore it. I've polished my own after dent removal. Now I have customers send it out.
The original trim was aluminum with Bright-Dip anodizing. Very few shops will do the Bright-Dip for hobbyists. As always, it depends on how much you want it to look original and how much you want to pay. Some try to polish and then clear coat it. The results are nice, but not original looking IMO. Dennis Barnett Classic Molding Restoration did mine but not sure he still does it. Be prepared for $$ and over a year wait time.

The carpet and interior both look blue to me. Look at the trans tunnel carpet in front of rear seat.
