« on: February 09, 2007, 08:59:09 PM »
Jerry MacNeish - CRG member for several years - has joined the author list of significant contributors to the CRG site with his new CRG report on bellhousing alignment for manual transmission cars - see http://www.camaros.org/bellhousings.shtml

Jerry has more in the hopper, and we're looking forward to seeing the results from his next topics.

Thanks Jerry, for a great article!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the support.

When I retire from this rat race Camaro business I will enjoy the time writing more artilces about the cars that we love.  I am working on an in-depth artilce about the Z28, what else, right?  That will be the next one.  Plenty of engine component data, dyno tests, race history and how to make them out run 396's and 427's!

I am also in the process of updating my Camaro fact books to a new 4th edition, both books!  There is just not enough hours in the day.  And then there's my Camaro appraisal touring schedule, next week Donahue, IA, then Rapid City, SD, then Ok City, CA, NH and so on.

I have always been fascinated by the little 302, and appreciate your work related to the Z28/ 302- seperating fact from fiction, Etc. I surely look forward to the performance articles, but also would hate to see you quit the excellent restoration work you do!

Thanks-

Rob

Retire???  Jerry, we don't want you to retire any time soon!  Where else can we find good work and great information?  When do you think your 4th editions will come out?

Jerry,

I know a few people who can make a BB run,  I'll wave as the BB goes by. :)

Bud,

Ask Gary Sommers.  He knows all about those big blocks.  As long as he can get all four gears he's good to go.

Just my luck!  I just purchased your "old" books.  :'(  Jerry, what kind of trade in value will you give me?   ;)

I am usually real bored over the winter months and can't wait till the NHRA DIV-1 drag racing series starts. Stock eliminator is one of my favorite classes and it is always great to see Jerry out there thumping one of the fastest 302's in the country. He is always a threat to win Stock Eliminator and a very consistent driver. Very happy to see guys like Jerry and Ben Wenzel sticking with the 302. The NHRA DIV-1 season is right around the corner. It would be a good idea to get to the drags and see Jerry and his E/Stocker do some damage to the big boys. He is a master of the 4 speed. ;D
