Garage Talk / Keith Chevrolet Circa 1969
« on: April 27, 2016, 07:02:30 PM »
I was looking at a NOS gm box and noticed a postage stamped from Oakland,CA dated October 31,1969 -I guess Gm mailed parts back then- it was shipped from General Motors Parts Division in Oakland,Ca to a Keith Chevrolet-the res is hard to make out but I think it is Chester,PA or Chester(another state)-I take it this dealership isn't in business or the name has changed-any info would be appreciated!

Originality / "W" stamped on the cowl induction flange
« on: August 19, 2014, 06:37:03 PM »
I replaced the 69Z28 cowl induction flange on my chevelle with a NOS correct notch/cut off type correct for chevelles-the camaro one I have had for many years it has a "W" stamped on it -I take it it is a manufactures stamp-any idea who made these. Only idea I had many Winters-but I know they were a foundry-are these camaro flanges worth any more than the chevelle ones? Thanks in advance!

I went to look at some bumoers for my sons 67RS.Started talking with the guy and he said he had a cowl induction air cleaner that he took off a 69 Camaro 30 years ago. It apperars to be a flat bottom one but when I flipped it over there was no vent tube? The snout looked like a Gm one-maybe it was for something else. Sorry my camera died so no pictures. May go back though. Thanks in advance for all your inut!
