That's a memorable car.  If anyone has seen it at a cruise in they will know it.  I ran this ad in the Auto RV local car flyer and it worked.  A guy called and said, "I know the first and second owners" and it went great from there.  Also now have met the third owner.

Good tip. What made you not get home shop 8k shown at $2595? I am just mostly cleaning, detailing, maybe oil change.

I donít remember exactly. I think when I got mine maybe jack tray came with one and not the other.  The Apex is also industry certified but I think the show (PRI in Indy) sale price on the upgraded one was just a couple hundred more than the hobby lift. Both looked certainly adequate.

My Atlas Apex 8 came from Greg Smith Equipment.  It moves around with one hand while on the casters.  Works good and is sturdy.  Looks good and was cost effective too.  They are currently $3145 on the website, I caught it on sale at a show

LOL.  Yeah.  a test of color and for protection mostly, since it all gets covered up!

Fortunately there was enough over spray of the dash paint on the lower section of the A pillar to confirm a good match.  Thanks for the interior color links guys!

Looking for definitive answer on the top of dash paint for my red interior 68.
I did find via search topics this same question for 67s but I donít know if the referenced paint code would be the same, and the links posted in that old thread are dead.

Thanks,
Bill

Just a tip -  you can resize pictures (smaller) before posting, so they are easier to see without scrolling across and down the page.  I use Paint myself.

Oops.  I didn't realize those last to were so huge.  Thanks.

Protective primer coat now while the body work advances.  Front subframe off and getting the works.

The floors in the driver's compartment were in good shape, but from the back half job, the section around the rear seat was cut up along with the trunk.  So to avoid having a cross seam in the floor pan, the decision was finally to replace the floors from the rear bumper to the firewall.  Also that let us chassis jig it all up and perfect alignments, dimensions, squareness.

Some progress on the body.  Original quarters, doors and sills in good shape.
