Strange Radiator Tag

I found this tag on the lower left side of my radiator. It doesn't look like any of the tags in this report plus it's in the wrong location. http://www.camaros.org/coolingsystems.shtml#tag.

Can someone tell me what type of radiator this is? Is it a correct replacement or just your run-of-the-mill repop?

Sorry it's a bad pic but its the best I could do given its location. If I read it correctly it's; 19, 0260537, made in USA (and maybe something else up top across from the #19).

It's the tag for a replacement radiator.

Kurt- Let's see if I can phrase this correctly; is this a GM part that was only available "back-in-the-day", or can it still be purchase today through GM? And do you think its something worth hanging on to with regards to a numbers car?

Not that it matters but I read in your report that the tag was soldered in place prior to the radiator being painted. Same thing for this one (even though it's about a mile away from the other tags location). No paint on the back but gloss black up front. I just thought that was kinda cool.

Oh, and thanks for flipping the tag. Gotta figure out how you do that.

Does it have Harrison tanks on it?

I use Irfanview - free and does a quality job of resizing things with minimal distortion (I've had problems with other programs).
I rotated it and then horizontal flipped it. Then I cropped and resized it to make it larger. Pretty easy once you've done it a few hundred times.....

I will make it a point to look for a Harrison logo on the tank tomarrow.

I will also look into Irfanview - very impressive! And free, you don't hear that very often.  Appreciate the tip!

I looked just about everywhere for a manufacturer's stamp short of removing it from the rad support & haven't found anything yet. I did manage to get a better look at the impression to the left of the #19 on the tag. It looks like side by side chevron's (for a lack of better terms). Does this help at all?

"^^" Might be a Modine, I think that used to be a popular replacement brand. Good quality stuff from what I remember.

Yeah, it looks like they got out of the automotive market maybe 8-10 years ago. I bought a Modine for my 79 Z28 about 13 years ago. It was a nice all brass soldered radiator. I guess its too hard to compete with all the plastic tank junk from China.

Ha! 5 minutes after this post I noticed a Modine radiator and oil cooler in the 05 BMW I'm currently working on.

Modine makes most of the radiators for big Class 8 over-the-road trucks (Kenworth. Freightliner, etc.).
