I know what ya mean. I must have cursed for three month's straight trying to figure it out. I'll be updating something different on posting pics that might help. If I can do it anyone can.  ;)

Nothing beats the lines of a '69 Camaro.

OMG I love this car. What color is that. Back around 1979 when I lived in Florida I saw a 68 that had the same color combo. Never seen it again until now. It really stands out as something different. Question is. Was that a factory color? I have only ever seen it twice.

Nice job Marty

The 1st gen Camaros have a great timeless style/design

Chevy should have made the new Camaros more of a 1st gen retro design - like the way the new Mustangs and Challengers were done.

Yes, the car did come from the factory with this color. It's GM Paint Code 80 (Azure Blue/Powder Blue) which was standard for Buick & Olds, but could be ordered as a Special Paint option for '69 Camaro & Pontiac.

Thanks for the complement.

Here is a pic from GM's '69 Color Chart...

Marty:  Was that Carolina blue car in Oklahoma about 7 years ago?  If not, I think it has a twin.  "- - " paint code for special paint.

Lynn - Before I answer can you please tell me what you remember about this other car? For example, interior color, vinyl top color, and any options you recall about the car. One option that might have caught your eye are the two "Light Monitoring" chrome monitors mounted on the fenders (Avatar @ left). You can also see them in Oaklyss beautiful 69. In addition, did it have only one outside mirror? A remote control mirror. These are easily distinguished by their bulky appearance.

In addition, where in Oklahoma did you see this car? And, did it look like the car in the pic below?

I have a feeling you can help me tie up some loose ends. Appreciate any info you can add.

I totally agree with you 100%. I have always thought the same thing.

Coldn´t agree more.....

Wow this changes everything. This is perhaps one of the most unique looking Camaros I have ever seen as well. I love it. Perhaps I need to rethink my current plan. Please post more info on this awesome car. It looks like a million dollars. I have never seen or heard of this combination before.

Eh, thanx but I´m not sure if you´re pullin my leg or what?? This is not a unique Camaro for what I know....could have been a COPO ones, who knows? ;)
I do know that my car is a X44 but with Deluxe Interior and original Hugger orange paint. The larger bumper guards were probably ordered from beginning according to the looks front srcew holes.
Orignal 14x6" steel wheels with F70-14 Good Year Polyglas and original dog dish. Rear wheels are a custom version made by me, 14x7 and with a set of NOS H70-14 Good Year Polyglas tires! ;) Car is lowered 2" with Hotckis sport leaf suspension.
Engine is a 355 with some old school  stuff on it for better looks!
