68 centre dash panel

What is the easiest way to tell the difference between an original GM walnut centre dash panel and a repo as I want to buy a GM one on Ebay?  Not sure if the GM ones are stamped with a part # ?

I have a centre dash panel downstairs with woodgrain running horizontally for a non a/c car.. Hang on and I'll check out the part - I can see no GM part numbers on it either front or back.
