Looking at 67 Camaro after reno there is no COWL tag (is this a walk away deal)?

Afternoon,
I am by no means super knowledgeable about first gens, I've been looking for one for about a year now and found this one at this link. When talking to the dealer about history and the cowl tag that stated there is not a cowl tag. I know I can research he cowl for all the original options and the date it came through the plant and I can also use the VIn to see if the two make since as being legit. I've seen many comments about not being too concerned about the cowl tag missing once a renovation has been done. My question is should I be concerned? Should I keep looking? I'm not necessarily looking for museum, vin, engine trans all matching. I just want to get something thats really nice that I can drive around, go to some car meets, and if something ever happened I could get my money back or close. Any help would be appreciated.

It was originally a 6 cylinder car, so its not exactly stock anymore.

You'll pay a higher price at a dealer. That car has a few issues and that's just quickly going by pictures. Missing parts, incorrectly installed parts, No fan shroud, wrong fan. At what temp does it run. Engine specs? What rear? It's crucial to have someone inspect the car that knows bodywork. I just took in a car that has 175 miles on a fresh build and have to redo poorly done bodywork for the new owner. I wouldn't give you $60K for that car.

I get the whole resto mod thing.. but the no cowl tag would be a hard pass for me.

It's all depends on what you want but personally, I'd skip that one and keep looking.
