I have a 69 z28, I am in the middle of restoration and I really do not like the idea of painting aluminum

I'm going to guess and say you are looking for a company or someone that will do the refinishing? if so, I would suggest you contact CRG member Jerry@CHP, this is his CRG name and not his e-mail address. He is well versed in this process and procedure of repairing and refinishing what your want. He owns a company that does this type of work. And if your car is a true numbers matching 69 Z28 he is the man that will be able to certify it as such.

Good Luck and Welcome to CRG!

Jerry did mine, it looks great.  He did my valve covers too.  Look here for pics of them:

Jerry did my intake, valve covers, carb, brake booster, alternator, distributor, etc. - if you want it done right, he's your man.  :)

Gambitt, when the commies come, I'm heading to you're house.  Is that your personal stash?  Seriously, the pic of the manifold looks like new, can't wait.

The gun stash is my Dad's.  He has a pretty impressive collection:)  Yes, the intake and valve covers that Jerry did look really great.  I now need to acquire some exhaust manifolds so I can send those to him...I also think I will send him my power brake booster.

That's the GM of Canada Oil Change Recommendation sticker; my car was sold new in Canada. :)

JohnZ, quick question about your exhaust manifolds.  Did Jerry also reskin the heat riser?  Looks to me like it would need to be or it would rust also.  I was just curious about this.
