Hi everyone, I hope its OK to post this here. I recently finished writing a book called; Racing Camaros - An International Photographic History 1966 - 1984. It focuses on the Camaro in road racing, with most of the content based around the 1966 - 1971 period. It also includes details of the Camaros design and development, as well as Vince Piggins' role in creating the Z-28 so the model could compete against the Mustang in Trans-Am racing.

Although I call it a photographic history, there are approx 40,000 words, not including detailed captions for the 300 photos. The book was launched a few weeks ago.

I've added more info on the book over on the Trans-Am Camaros section of the CRG forum, including some sample photos. You can find the link here: http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=19171.0

The book is available here: https://www.veloce.co.uk/store/Racing-Camaros-p187276085

Many thanks
Steve Holmes

I haven't finished it yet, but have enjoyed greatly what I have read. For those who like collecting books, it would be wise to order soon so you can get the hardbound issue. I waited too long to order another of Steve's books, and that arrived soft cover. That doesn't change the fact that Steve did a great job and the book is the same, but I prefer hardbound vs soft cover.

Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

Sounds like a nice book. I was ordering the book but the shipping cost of $26 was just to much. Maybe the shipping cost was listed wrong.

Seems pretty reasonable coming the UK to the US.

USPS used to have a 'book rate' for shipping and it was a lot less expensive...  Has that changed?

I just looked back at my order.

On March 19, I paid £34.95 (British Pounds) total, including shipping.  At today's conversion rates, that's about $50 USD shipped to Texas.

I got the book last week. While I haven't finished it yet I've  really enjoyed it so far.

I bought one of these when they first came out, and then lost it.

Bought another one this past week, and the day it arrived, I found the original one.

I paid $35 on Amazon with free shipping for the new one.

Will sell it for $30 shipped to the Continental US 48 States for the first one to PM me.
