Ken, did you get to know any of the Mo Carter crew?  I'm trying to contact a Ken Ball who also looked after Mo's Firestone tire operation.  Thanks.

The Camaro of Larry Wilcox, as seen at the Green Valley Polar Prix in early 1969. Larry ran this car in one Trans-Am race in May 1968
[The War Bonnet 250 in New Mannford, OK] and ran in A/Sedan the rest of the time. I'm wondering if anybody knows what happened
to this car after Wilcox sold it. It would be nice to know if it got back in Trans-Am under a different driver/owner.

I'm going to make an assumption that WEB Enterprises was owned by Larry Wilcox. If someone knows different, let me know.

WEB sold a Camaro Chassis Preparation  and Clearances and Specifications for 302 cu.in. v-8 Chevrolet Engines in the early 70's,they were based in Grand Paririe, Texas. The chassis manual covered subframe and body prep, roll cage install, front and rear suspension, spring and sway bar rates, shocks and bump stops, and brakes just to name a few. also included was G.M. part # for steering componets, springs, sway bars, brakes, etc, it was very well put together and undoubly straight from Chevrolet.I think I have seen this mentioned on other Camaro websites. Has anyone else seen this info?

The Camaro Chassis Preparation sheets are already posted on our forum here:  http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=7863.0

There's also some more info here: http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8578.0

I have the "Clearance and Specifications for 302..." sheets you mention but have not gotten around to copying and posting them yet.
I'll see if I can set aside some time to do that.

"These two photographs were taken in the Trois-Rivières race weekend in September of 1970......I ran in both the Quebec Regional Championship that year and the Canadian Touring Car Championship races, back to back on Sunday.

The first shot is in the Quebec race (25 laps), open for sedans and sports cars (explaining the Cobra on the front row in second position) which I won from the Cobra and Derek Johnson flag to flag from pole (Todco car qualified third on the outside front row).

The second shot was taken after my second win.

The second race was the Canadian Touring Car race (40 laps) and we were joined this time by Moe Carter in his ex-Chaparal Camaro who had qualified second and .... after having again qualified on pole beat them all flag to flag and .......... and by a country mile might I add  .

You could say I was just flying that day as  the car was extremely well set up by our very competent mechanics ,  and that shorts city circuits being favourites of mine, I won Three Rivers 5 years/times in different cars, all sedans of course..."

The "Export A" Camaro was an ex-Titus car which Dick Brown's team got in 1969 (Orange Firebird) from TG Racing after Jerry damaged their Firebird in practice in St-Jovite in 1969.

Lloyd Ruby in the Gene White Firestone/Jim Rathmann Chevrolet sponsored Camaro is locked in a heated battle
with Parnelli Jones' Bud Moore Mustang. This is at the Citrus 250, a Nascar GT race at Daytona in February '69.
This was the debut of the Boss 302 Mustang in any kind of officially sanctioned race. Neither car finished.

Thanks to Robert for all the new photo additions!

Great stuff from a true enthusiast, both "back in the day," and today.
