For decades, whoever owns this car has been representing it as the "last Camaro convertible built" repeating the yarn about Chevrolet providing a plaque, now curiously missing.

It isn't even close to the last 1969 Camaro convertible built. There are at least 127 1969 Camaro convertibles built later than the car in question.

The latest '69 convert I know of, seen on ebay October 2020.

Thanks William for the post.
Not 1 single attached document photo, but hey, you get a reproduction plaque.

I searched several times and didn't see any photo of the "GM Plaque" on the website. Anyone else find it?

There were roughly 37k Camaros built after the auction car. Pretty naive of whoever wrote that description to think this was the last convertible.

Thanks, I was also going to post about this bs car.
Why would GM give someone a plaque like that? They wouldn't......

I take joy in knowing the last know convertible (for now) is a 6 cylinder.

I'm not buying it......figuratively or literally.

Probably why it's selling at Mecum rather than BJ.  Jerry would have a field day with this one.
