Starting to second guess myself....I'm gathering all the parts and pieces to install a fold down rear seat in my 69 SS coupe - standard interior.
The rear side panels - I'm thinking they are the same - no matter fold or no fold.....right?

Maybe I won't do this after all.......lol.

Not the same. The lower part with the armrest is the same for Standard & deluxe interior. The upper part is special for Standard interior. (smaller pattern)....Joe

The 67 upper is different than the 68/9 but will install without issue. The latching mechanism is also different. The seat bottom assembly is narrower and the same as the convertible. .

If you are also buying the seatback, ensure all the trim pieces are there. Finding them separately is near impossible.

There's the partition behind the folding seat and the shelf it sits in.

Thanks for the replies.

The seat back is perfect with everything there.  The mounting brackets and lower ledge is included.

The upper side metal panels are coming.

Everything else is obtainable.  I'll do this conversion later when I have all the parts / pieces in hand.

When your done removing the seat bottom, you should find dimples in the metal where the lower brackets mount.

Thanks Dave - appreciate the heads up.

The 67 seat is straight across, and the 8/9 have the notched area. I'm still baffled why they couldn't put the latch on the driver side.
