how to replace the bulbs on a rs car?

Right; Remove Battery to access
Left; Remove Vacuum tank to access

Tom, the battery side is straightforward.  Make sure to reinstall the battery hold down clamp in the proper orientation.
For the left side, take pictures of where the colored hoses go to in the relay valve and tank. Itcwill take a bit of wrangling to get the tank out and properly aligned for installation.

Oh & Use a Amber Bulb also (?), clears in the rear.
