is there an after-market Crossram inexpensive 2.5" tall air filter available.

does not need to be show quality or replicated.

I have a couple of the 1.75" tall $25.00 filters but unsure about inadequate air flow when I get on it.
or, maybe I'm ok with 1.75" talls
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Walt

I believe the 'Cobra' oval air cleaners are the same. That said, it should be readily available.

I have used the Cobra air filters when running and driving. Switched to OEM when shown

To understand this question,....you have an air filter but have never used it and are questioning if it will prevent the engine from receiving enough air under heavy load?

I think the answer is no. There is no cheap "quality" air filter for that application that I know of. I like the K&N filter though. It has a higher upfront cost, but is reusable; literally forever. Meaning you'll never have to buy another filter. And it likely breathes better than any paper filter available. Not stock looking though if that's what you're after.

thanks, would you happen to know the K&N number.
much appreciated.
