I always imagined Marina Blue was the same as Lemans Blue.

Nope. I knew that one from seeing original cars next to each other at car shows.

I do not know if any reason why it would be a Norwood only color.

Is there a reason why you ask? Just never seen a Burgundy LA car?

My old '69 LA built RS Z/28 was code 67 burgundy.  I believe it was considered a special order color for the LA plant, but never heard a reason why it would be...

If it was a special order color, wouldn't it be - -?

Found this note in the CRG exterior paint code section....

1969: Colors 10, 67, 40, 61, 51, 53/51, 51/53, and 61/63 were initially special order from LOS/VN. 40, 63, 61/63 were initially special order from NOR. The special order restriction was lifted circa January 1969. Note that "special order" is different from "special paint."

I know of 6 Van Nuys cars with 67 coded tags. 3 of them are z28's. The earliest one is an 01B build.

An old thread but I have something that might be helpful.  This link is a great resource for researching paint colors.  Click on the GM Code for a color and you'll see everything GM used that color for.  Some go back a lot of years and had many names.  The link should take you page as it's broken down to 67 Camaro colors.  Lots of good information here.
