Ed McComas is the owner/author of that little book (now a pdf file); it's about all I've used for the last 30 or so years, since I helped him put a first listing together...  He sold this book via NCRS and at car shows for years, but he's decided not to do another printing.  I suggest downloading it and saving it to your desktop for easy access..

It covers Chevrolet V8's engines from the '55 models thru the 1991 year...  This is his 5th revision since he first began selling it...

It's a handy guide and nice of the author to allow it's use, but I can't believe in all the editions and printings that Tonawanda is still spelled wrong.
