1968 z28 with jl8
« on: February 15, 2012, 02:19:35 PM »
Could a 1968 have the availability to receive the jl8 option or is it a 1969 only thing? What would a person look for in documenting a 1968 if advertised as such? thanks Darrell D

Thanks Ed I was looking at a 1968 advertised as jl8 but did not think it was possible makes me doubt the rest of the car. Darrell D

Darrell, can you get me more information on the car? (VIN, Trim Tag, and especially the axle code?)

Yes, he has it on ebay now and he says that the front brakes are jl8 and it does not have rear discs, I did not know that you could get them on the front and not on the rear, false alarm. Thanks for your time on this. Darrell D

Looks like he's got JL8 confused with J52.

EBAY LINK

I'd still be interested in the numbers if you decide to go look at it.

But even if it's not a Z, his "Buy it Now" price is pretty good and his Craigslist price is even better! Looks like a solid car.

Z/28 clone at best. Incorrect front hood striping.

Don't forget to ask him about the other cars parked out in the white stuff. His signs aren't half bad either... ;)
