Could a 1968 have the availability to receive the jl8 option or is it a 1969 only thing? What would a person look for in documenting a 1968 if advertised as such? thanks Darrell D

69 only from the factory.

Thanks Ed I was looking at a 1968 advertised as jl8 but did not think it was possible makes me doubt the rest of the car. Darrell D

Darrell, can you get me more information on the car? (VIN, Trim Tag, and especially the axle code?)

ED, I am trying to get a hold of him to look at it this weekend I will let you know. Thanks Darrell D
-
Thanks. If you want to just email me the info, my email address is in my profile.
Pictures would be great by the way!
Is THIS (http://omaha.craigslist.org/cto/2851634230.html) the car?

Yes, he has it on ebay now and he says that the front brakes are jl8 and it does not have rear discs, I did not know that you could get them on the front and not on the rear, false alarm. Thanks for your time on this. Darrell D

Looks like he's got JL8 confused with J52.
EBAY LINK (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-R-S-Z-28-camaro-real-deal-/160737733388?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item256cb72b0c)
I'd still be interested in the numbers if you decide to go look at it.
But even if it's not a Z, his "Buy it Now" price is pretty good and his Craigslist price is even better! Looks like a solid car.

Looks like a very nice car for the money.

Z/28 clone at best. Incorrect front hood striping.
-
Don't forget to ask him about the other cars parked out in the white stuff. His signs aren't half bad either... ;)

Sold at the buy-it-now price.
