I have run across another MW block from a 67 Camaro.  There are a couple things different about the block stamps.  The first thing is that the 1 in T032(1)MW is actually an I and not the number 1. 

The second peculiar thing is that in the VIN section of characters there appears to be a partial top to the letter L in the first position.  You cannot make out the entire letter, it's only the top portion.  And it is in the first postition where the 7 typically goes.  The second digit in the VIN section is 7.  So it appears that the L and the 7 have been transposed.  Never seen that before, has anyone else? I can email a photo of it if needed.

This block had a rod punched through the side of it but there may be other pieces to it if someone has the car.

Pretty common for them to use I instead of 1 on the pad stamp. Can you post a pic?

7L152945 for reference. Close to a L35 that's missing it's engine, but not a match.
Yes, I've seen the 7&L transposed before. Can you send me a pic?

I sent an email as my attempts to attach a photo didn't work.  It was a jpeg file so not sure why it wouldn't take it.

I have seen vin#s stamped in this order also, but i have seen it done only in a certain vin# range or time period. But i have not seen many Los vin#s stamped up-side down. Roger

I'm just reading this now. My 67 LOS 396 is stamped the same way. The VIN on the block is L71537XX and is upside down plus the car build date is April 13th according to the thick paper I found taped to the tunnel under the rug with certain option codes listed (complete with overspray too!). This VIN number is close to the example above.

That paper is probably a UOIT - pretty rare to find. The codes should match your trim tag.

A UOIT is what it is and does match the trim tag options. I didn't know what it was until you mentioned it and now I see it spelled out along the paper edge.
It was folded and tapped to the hump under the rug near the console on the drivers side.
