I see you've chosen some strange cars for the homepage. Excellant! Can you tell us details on each one?

I can't speak for the other two "strange cars", so I guess I'll get things started with my "strange car"...

Its a 69 L48 (300hp SB) with the Special Paint option. It is one of only a handful of 69's painted GM's paint code 80, Powder Blue. Even though the pic shows the car with "Hockey Stripes", it is also believed to be a Stripe Delete car as well.

In addition, it is a highly optioned car; Rally Sport, Super Sport, Am/Fm "Blue Light" stereo, Electric Clock, Speed Warning Device, Light Monitoring System (aka Vigilites), Air Conditioning, Tilt Steering Column, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Remote Control Mirror, Vanity Mirror, Courtesy Lights, Space Saver Spare, All Original Tinted Glass, Deluxe Seat Belts, Door Edge Guards, Vinyl Roof, Center Console, & D80 Spoiler.

If you want to get really bored you can read more about it here;

I THINK I remember discussion about the Hugger Orange '67 too, would like details though. The '68 looks to be a six cylinder from here. What would make it unusual is the color. Looks like teal blue, code LL with blue interior, don't see that every day.

I bought the 1968 Sport Coupe featured on this month's home page from the original owner in 1988. It is an original everything survivor having only one option, A01 tinted glass all windows. As stated, it has the original Teal Blue LL paint and 717 Blue interior. It also has the original 230 cu. in. L6 and 3 speed column shift transmission.
The car is documented with the P.O.P, copy of the original title, dealer packet and owner maintenance records and receipts from day one. I love this car. Joe.

Hey Maroman - what sort of details would you like to know?  I'd be happy to share anything of interest.  Ken did do a fantastic job on my car - a real labor of love!  Paul

Plasiter, I remember your discussion about your oddball. What a cool car!! Stovebolt, I love that color. I have only seen a handfull of Camaros with it, owned one many years ago. All three cars are very unique in their own way, excellant choices for the homepage.
