My apologies for bringing this thread back but I'm desperate...this car's POP has a address of 16524 Harbour Lane, Huntington Beach, Ca. Can anyone tell me how to go about researching dealerships that were in this general vicinity back in 1968?

There was Groth Chevrolet in Huntington Beach back then. They were at 18211 Beach Blvd. Some others were Connell Chevrolet in Costa Mesa, Guaranty Chevrolet in Santa Ana and Cone Chevrolet in Fullerton. People did not necessarily buy cars from the same town they lived in though. That whole area has tons of choices for Chevrolet dealerships and they may have gone to a place that had a large inventory or that they thought gave a good deal.

This is a shot in the dark but certainly a great place to start. Nor did I expect this much information early on. Thanks Jon, I really appreciate it!
