I have a Van Nuys built 12C date Camaro that has had the subframe replaced at some point.  Should this car have the early style subframe without the large holes on the frame horns?  Thanks for any info.

Rssstmac;  There is a research topic on here about the Early /Late '67 Sub-frame.  Go back click on Research Topics, then scroll down to '67 Topics.  The changeover period was No./Dec. of'66.  I have a 1 st. week Nov. LOS built coupe that has the "early" type(no holes.

I did see the research on the early to late 67í frames and how the change took place in Nov. / Dec.  Has there been any further research to give a more exact time frame?  At this time I have the opportunity to purchase the early style frame and donít want to pass it up if thatís what my car originally had.  Thanks for any help.

Hopefully someone else with alittle more knowledge than myself will see this post and shead more light on the subject.  In my estimation, I would say that a 12C built car would be getting near where the changeover was complete.  Meaning that it is most likely that your car would have had the Later style Sub-frame WITH the Tie-down holes.
