Thanks for the info. Guys!   I got hold of Paragon, they only stocked the Glass for '67 'Vette, but I took the chance that they were the same.  They are the same, I recieved the glass today, it's in and looks GREAT !   Just wanted to Thank you guys that helped.

What year is your car and is it a coup or convertible. I'd like to repair my 68 convertible mirror. Is the mirror the same for 67 through 69 and coupe/convertible?

Mike.

Any place I've looked, including Rick's, the 67-68 Inside mirrors are listed as the same.  I've even seen some OE's listed as same.  But '69 must be different.  However, the bracket that the mirror attaches to seems to have changed in '68 and is the same as '69.

I recently purchased the replacement day-night mirror glass from Paragon ($40) and installed it easily and I'm very happy with the results.

I used a plastic pry tool to go around the edges of the rubber and get the glass to come out.  And then reversed it to get it back in.

The stainless backing cleaned up perfect using Nev-R-Dull, and I used some armorall on the rubber before removing the glass to help the rubber given it's 46 years old.

Two words of warning.

(1) Before I dropped the $40 at Paragon I purchased the replacement day-night glass from Zip Corvettes for $27 (I'm cheap!).  Well the Zip glass is NOT the correct size (it's about 1/8" taller).  My guess is this mirror glass is the one that's used in the reproduction mirrors.  Zip is not the only one with this incorrect glass.  So if you're going to do the replacement yourself I'd recommend going with Paragon as I know their part fit.

(2) Before going the glass replacment route I had order the reproduction mirror (from Classic Industries).  It looked nice, but was a hair taller as I mentioned earlier.  The reason I didn't keep it was that the mounting arm was thinner than on my original and it didn't quite stay "still".

Finally, there's someone on ebay who sells restored mirrors for $90 + shipping.  At this point I've spent enough on shipping and return shipping that I should have just gone that route.

I just went with the advice from reply #1 and #2, and went straight to Paragon.  So all I have invested is time and the $40 + shipping from Paragon.  And there are pis. in reply #11 of my results.

Are the 67-69 mirrors/glass the same or is there a size difference?

I went to look for the ebay restored mirrors but haven't found it yet.

I found it. Just sent email to find out if they have one for a 69 and if they take exchanges. Here's the ebay store for the mirrors.

I had my original mirror re-silvered by Chaudron Glass in Baltimore MD 410-685-1568.  Old school company, visiting their office was like going back in time.
Cost 40.00, I delivered item to them and picked it up.  They only re-silver mirrors once a month.
Very happy with the results.  I used a heat gun to soften the rubber and remove the mirror glass

I contacted Joyce and she said they can do a basic clean and hand polish on the stainless and replace the glass for $75.00 plus $10.0 for shipping. $90.00 if you want the stainless machine polished. Just wondering how polished was the stainless when first installed or is it even necessary.

My question is, what is the correct length of 69 camaro mirrors? The one in my car with bad silvering is 12" and the repop is 10" which I do not like as it does not stay in a fixed position due to being made a C hair too thin. I can correct but I d rather have the original. The 12" is exact in every deatil too? Paragon only has 10"?

The '69 day-night mirror is 10" wide.
