Best way to sell my car?
« on: July 19, 2018, 12:45:56 AM »
Breaks my heart but I'm physically and emotionally exhausted, have a kid in college and one starting this coming year. I reluctantly need to sell it, but I hate Ebay. Is there a better way?

You can always try craigslist or if you don't want a bunch of people wasting your time try Team Camaro or the yenko site. Those people were at least understand what you have. It looks like a fathom green Z?

British Green 1968 Z28, original BW coded 4.56 axle, lots of original parts, but original block and transmission are gone. Not sure how much sheet metal replaced.

Most of the information about the car is in this thread.

Chris the 2 places mentioned would be the best places to list it. No for sale ads allowed on this site.
Bryon / 1968 Camaro SS 396 coupe - now old school 468 big block
1967 Camaro RS/SS 396 coupe L35/M40 - 4 generation family project
Looking for 68 Camaro with body # NOR 181016

Timing isn’t right for me now but I would have been interested 8 months ago - and will be again in about 4 years from now.

Resist the urge to sell and hang on to it ! My youngest is about to leave the nest this September: I've had three through college, two are now married (daughter's wedding is just now getting paid off), youngest son gets hitched in September, 1st grandchild was born June 23rd., and on it goes. I've fielded many offers, tempted to sell one or more, but I could never face the fact that when and if they sell, I could never replace them. Too many stories from folks over the years about seller's remorse when they let one go out the driveway. I have only sold one of my cars since '73, a '70 LS5 SS, but that was because my best friend was selling his '68 BRG Z that I had helped him buy, and build up - I couldn't let it walk. Bad feeling to watch the trailer leave the house after owning the Chevelle 19 years, only I had one to replace it, which helped somewhat. Borrow money, get a second mortgage, sell something else to retain it, but I feel it will leave a 3 foot hole in you coming out the other side.

Just my opinion -

Steve
