The listing you’re looking for is no longer available.

Looks like he took the auction down.

I remember someone saying the 074 heads made about 8.5 comp with closed chamber heads. Someone said 10.0 with closed 11.0 pistons. Which is closer? We are doing this with a 30 over L72 short block. The car has the makings of a nice street brawler but no more to me.

in the case of a LS6 crate engine #366250 from the 80's-90's- it had closed chamber piston with open chamber head. compression was listed as 10.25.

and which head gasket?
GM steel shim is about .022" thick.
Felpro composite gasket is about .039" thick.
other factors: piston deck height, head chamber cc's.

I actually might believe it is an L89 car. But the affidavits never say what drivetrain survived. Add Mark Young to the mix and the car becomes questionable.
Axle might be real.....
Car was for sale before.

That's what I was just saying to myself. The edge of the pad area looks smooth like it has been cut. Numbers all up/down and sideways. Would like to see the paint gone and close-up of that area. I am still learning, but I would stay away. Danny

Nope.
I think the car may be a L89. But that pad is a restamp as is the trans. I think the axle could be original.
