Exhaust manifold
« on: October 25, 2016, 06:06:58 PM »
What kind of manifold is this? Would it be stock? The reason I ask is, I have the same thing. I was going to order a repo set from one of the online companies, but if is correct then I will hold off. The right side looks like it could be for a standard engine with a heater box.

Looks like a automatic/non-smog small block manifold, but you can pin it further if you can provide the casting number and the date code(s). It is flanged for a heat stove - can't see if it is drilled or maybe a repro non-smog equipped car from this angle. Pretty common -

Regards,
Steve

BTW, what engine combination is this one installed on ?

I see the rivets still in the holes for securing the heat stove, so likely it's an original. Here again, depends on what engine/trans you are using this on -

This was on an EBay ad for a supposed Z/28.

That is an incorrect manifold for a 69 Z28and non smog. It looks like it's installed on a 69 Z28 based on the valve cover and the single 3/8 fuel line pictured.
