Here is a side by side comparison of the original 68 K30 Vacuum Servo Bracket that Bryan and I saw in OK compared to the 67 K30 Reproduction bracket offered by Ricks Camaro Parts in their catalog. Original on the left, repop on the right. Notice the mounting holes are different. One other thing, the over the counter kits have a completely different bracket that doesn't resemble either of these. Thanks bryan302 for calling to tell me about this thread and thanks bc69 for posting it.

Here is my bracket and vacuum servo. I was unsure about the original finish for the bracket. Since most mounting brackets were black, that is what I went with. Anyone have any ideas as to if that is correct?

Better angle for view of holes in servo bracket.
This is great comparison  of the three. Factory, over counter and aftermarket.
Can we do the same with the other components of the K30?

Dale if you notice this one matches the one you call repop.

This is said to be the clip used in the first factory installs of the K30. It is thought to be different on the over the counter and aftermarkets kits.

Hey bc69,

I will post more pictures of my original components. The repop bracket in the picture above is a new one I ordered out of Ricks Camaro Parts catalog several years ago and they say it is a reproduction of the 67K30 bracket. You are right it matches your bracket exactly. The rusty bracket on the left in the picture above is an original 68 K30 bracket I was able to locate and the owner was nice enough to remove the bracket and allow me to make the comparison photographs. The painted bracket in the second photo I happened across on ebay and was able to purchase to replace the missing one from my car. When I bought my 68 RS the bracket and servo were the only  K30 components that were missing. I looked for 20 years before I found an original one to replace the one that was taken out of my car when the original engine was replaced. My 68 was the victim of a small engine fire that likely ruined the servo because the wiring was melted in the vicinity of it as well as some under the dash. When that happened the original engine was replaced and because of the servo bracket being so close to the valve cover I am sure it got tossed.

Here is the K30 throttle clip on a 68 L-30.....looks a bit different than a 67.

bc69  Try cropping the picture down to a smaller size. Sometimes that works for me.

Thanks Dale. I've tried that and sometimes it does help but a couple it don't.
