Am I looking at something wrong or does trim tag show white top an and window sticker show black top?

Yep, Lemans blue with white roof on the cowl tag.  White top was the standard convertible top color with lemans blue.

funny I lived in redwood city for years and would drive right under that sign, I never looked into what "government test"  was actually done. I live in southern california now between L.A. and San Diego, weather is pretty similar, housing is affordable, and the schools are great for our kids. Smiley I miss going to giants games though Sad

also date on pro-tec-to plate is 5-26-68 car was built 3rd week of May.  I don't think a car could be bought in Virginia and built in Ohio on same week, oh and 5-26-68 was a Sunday dealer was not open on Sunday

not so nice patchwork in the trunk...
no joint between bottom of rearend panel and quarters...

not so nice patchwork in the trunk...
no joint between bottom of rearend panel and quarters...
The seam is faint but is there. Lighting and camera settings obscure it.
