Question on fan and clutch
« on: August 28, 2021, 10:42:40 PM »
Got this with some parts, and not sure if it's application. I am working on a 69 Z/28. I can't find a lot about this clutch. If it's not for my car, then can someone please help with application so I can get it to someone who can use it.
Fan #3937779 dated H68
Schwitzer clutch dated 10-6-68 SC, 5/8" pilot, about 1.7" from fan to water pump flanges

Did you read THIS? You have a early 1969 Camaro Z28 fan and clutch.

What's the build date of your car?

2-19-69

I did read it...multiple times
I see where it says the fan was early 69
So the SC clutch is definitely DZ302 early 69?
Thanks

That's a little early for your car. You should be running the 3947772 fan or the 3956684 fan and the 3946804 (CV) clutch.

Not for your car. No way to tell what the clutch went in originally without the broadcast code or part number for the fan clutch.
