It says "Call number in photos"....but there's only one photo and there's no phone number in it. Probably a scam.

I wonder if it sold, or did he just take it off the market because the tags were brought up to him often.

This listing was ended by the seller on Fri, Jul 12 at 6:32 PM because the item is no longer available.

classiccarswest (The Seller)

@mr.urich good morning all! The owner did buy the car from Streetside classics He was convinced it was authentic due to the fairly specific corresponding numbers on the car. A late 69 Block casting # 396 with ďhi perf passĒ casting. A one year, camaro only, 12 bolt rear axle casting # with a late may stamping, VIN on the trans and Norwood vin sequence with correct late may timeline. @69CamaroSS i canít comment on the data plate as frankly itís not obvious to me that itís a reproduction, admittedly iím not an authority in this area.

All that being said the car is extremely well done, has a very reasonable reserve and weíre willing to call it a tribute if @BAT is willing to change the headline. We want to put all the info out there for bidders prior to them making a decision and determining how much value is present.

Sold for $81,000 yesterday.

It has been deleted.

Is it just me or does the front bumper look a little wonky........doesn't quite look uniform and aligned correctly with the grille.

Whatta shame.

Big money to bring that one back.

Including sourcing and putting all the RS option grille and headlights back into it.

From above CRG link.......

The lack of a 4P, 4L, 4N, or 4K code indicates the car originally had a 327 (assuming the car had a V8, as indicated by the VIN).

And the plot thickens, Certainly looks like factory applied paint, but that tag calls for  "G" Granada Gold.

Ok so, the blue being inside the shackle bushing tube and under the bump stop, while seemingly unlikely, could be explained away if they were indeed removed for a paint job. But how does the blue get under the factory undercoating?

Has there ever been a case where a car was painted a color, perhaps the wrong color, on the assembly line, then ran though the paint stage once again when the mistake was discovered? Then once the correct paint was applied, in this case the gold, "then" the undercoating, bump stops, shackles, etc,...were applied or installed?

This pic was taken '80 of my '72. Of all the cars that I've had this one and my 396 SS/RS are my all time favorites.

Funny, I had a 73 full bumper Camaro in 1980. Maroon with black vinyl top and black interior,...front and rear spoilers like yours, but I put a 78 Z28 hood scoop on it.

A friend of mine had a red 70 RS with the L88 hood on it and I always thought it looked perfect on it.
