Marty
I know I am outside your time frame (NOR 06A) - My driver's side has the split at approx. 16.5 inches from the front of the stripe
I am 100% certain my car has never been repainted

Chris - I am very interested in your original D90! Can you post a pic or send it to my email address?

Thanks!

Steve Shauger

Hey Marty attached are two pics of my 4C Norwood built survivor. The stencils join at 19 inches from front of fender. This correlates with my blue car as well.

Here is the front part from stencils and stripes . They are supposed to be made like the original . It is made to go on the fender extension ,for cars that didn't have the extension painted they just wouldn't paint it and not make a new stencil

I'm not really sure why you said your pic talents were lacking...excellent close up pics Steve & thanx again! My guess is the guy on the blue car was hitting the sauce or the bong a little early that day. White car is much more presentable! At any rate, gotta love all the irregularities mainly in the outer lines. Also nice to know Norwood was consistant with their D90 layout. Very curious to see a Van Nuys original to see how they measure up (pardon the pun).

Mark - Great information. This is the first time I have ever seen a D90 Stencil. If I'm reading the tape correctly the front of the stencil to the seam/joint is ~19". Do you agree? If this is the case, then all of the Norwood cars so far are consistant w/this measurement. My Van Nuys car is the only one off by ~1".

Again...please keep the original D90's coming. Any original D90 Van Nuys 69's out there?

About 16 inches from the corner to the seam. I taped them to the fender to get an idea how they are used .

Mark - just one more question...

IZRSSS

Wow, that's almost dead on with mine. Thanx Mark!

Oaklyss - I remember your car from this thread; http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8624.0. You've got to be yanking chains...original paint? If I may...You lucky son of a gun! That has to be the best original paint I have seen to date. Great pics on the D90 and the crude way it was applied. Also like the U46  ;). Much appreciated.

BTW, was your measurement taken from the vertical front edge of the stripe (As per pic in reply 14)?
