The tank isn't painted, and the straps are semi-gloss black; don't use insulating strips between the straps and the tank - the vendors want you to buy them, but they were never used in production.

The rubber strips are an anti-squeak..
I didn't know they were not OE on these cars, but peobably a good idea anyway if originality is not too important.
