On an 8D built Norwood car, I am assuming that any H date alternator would be suitable.  Correct?  Need 1100843 (327 with A/C), anybody got one in their pocket?

Sorry I don't have one Dave - but I'll keep my eyes open.

But a man whose ride I definitely want to see  - '69 w/327.  My kind of guy!

I have one at home but I think it's dated 9Fxx. I'll check when I get home. Martin

Still looking, any ideas on a supplier?  Rick's was a big fat NO, but I thank them for trying.  Dave

Rich--Thanks for the lookout.  I needed the 1100843 from H68.  Strangely enough i just got a call today saying that I got lucky.  Tip of the hat to Classic Muscle in North Carolina.  Not cheap, but when they've got it and you want it......  Dave

Yep! Ya'll ought to know that we Tarheels (NC) know how to take care of our Chevys!
But, Dave, you should have told everyone that you find them at http://www.oldmusclecars.com/

Thanks for the address plug.  I didn't remember it, but this place was actually the first and only place to get me a neutral safety switch for my SS396 Nova several years ago.  I had forgotten all about them until last week.  Once again they came through where the others failed.  Dave

I have also used these folks in the past - very reliable and like Dave, found the correct neutral safety switch for my ride as well.  I also remember finding the correct clips that go on the lower control arms where the front shock absorbers are bolted.

Highly recommed trying Classic Muscle / Modern Chevrolet, especially for those hard to find items.
