68 Camaro Heater box

Was wondering if the inside dimensions of the heater box where the core sits is different between BB and SB. Went to fit a 68 BB core in my box and it seems to sit too high and I can't fit the clips on. My car runs a BB but was originally a SB.

Yes they are. Recently I got rid of a BB box I had since'84. I can't remember the dimensional diffs. Read this from Ricks: http://www.rickscamaros.com/product.asp?pf%5Fid=HC%2D64&dept%5Fid=3188 Many do successful conversions. There is info on the Team Camaro site about this issue.
