hurst shifter date coded?

sorry I'm posting this twice. once under date codes and now under general. I'm new to this and just registered tonight. on the side of my hurst shifter are the #'s 29D330 is this a date code and if so how is it to be read? If not a date code what do the numbers refer to? and is there a componenent  number that should be found on the shifter. I have a 1969 Z28. Thanks for any help! Larry, 69zman
