I have some mid to late January dates for mine. Seems like these wheels were in batches if only Z/28s used them.

Mark's Yellow 02D RS Z has 1 27 and 1 28 YHs (2 of each IIRC).

From all the info on this topic I have decided to use the 4-18 wheels . Does anyone have any K-1-9  4-18 wheels for sale ? thanks

Was the 02D RS Z that had two YH wheels dated 1-27 and two dated 1-28 built in Van Nuys or Norwood?? I have an 02C Van Nuys built Z that has three YH wheels dated 1-27 and two dated 1-28. Interesting to see another car with the same dates. I always kinda wondered if mine were from the factory that way. Mine is an original unrestored car that sat untouched for 20 years before I got it, so the chances are slim that the wheels didnt come from the factory that way. Thanks.....

There's nothing unusual about that - wheels came by the thousands, stacked herringbone-style in rail cars, and nobody either at Kelsey-Hayes or at the assembly plants paid any attention at all to dates; all they cared about was the correct wheel type.

Probably swapped with another Z to get new tires (I just got mags and you can have the old wheels and tires for $50, just give me your rims....).

Better than that - I figured it out...they guy I bought my car form in '84 had a second '69 badged as a Z/28 (he said it was but who knows).  It was his P & J.  Along with a brand new shiny black paint job it rocked a set of Center Line rims. Don't know the build date of the car but would bet that it was the original owner of those K19 8 4 YH  rims.
