I have been researching a 1967 RS Camaro Convert and just pulled the VIN off today. 124677N109477.  The cowl tag does match the vent tag 7N109477.  Other than that not much is known about the car. (327 4 speed) I looked for the build sheet in the rear seats but it was not there, just a dog tag that I have no idea where it came from. (see other thread).  Might hope for the fuel tank slip but not holding my breath.  The car is completely disassembled but the sheetmetal is good.  The only thing it may need is floor pans and some minor welding repairs to different areas.  Just wanted to post it here to "check" the CRG database to see if there is any record of the car.  (stolen, prior info, etc...)  The owner is asking 10K.  A butternut yelliow with black interior I think would be a nice cruiser for the beach.....  I am figuring that it will cost 10K more to get it ready for paint and another 10-15K for replacement parts to get it restored.  Total guess to finish would be around 35K-40K.  It would be done frame off and I know that everything would be done right and this project may take some time...and a second job ;)

Could you clarify that and post a photo of the cowl tag? There should be no numbers on the cowl tag that match the VIN number.

scroll to the bottom for the cowl tag. no vin # on the cowl tag just near the heater box to match the door jab tag.....
