Front Spoiler Removal Loading Car Into Trailer

I will be trailering my '69 Z28 in an enclosed trailer very soon.  Although I am an experienced trailer user (boats, 5th wheels, utility, etc.), this will be my first time using an enclosed car hauling trailer.  The trailer has an electric winch to pull the car into the trailer, rather than having to drive the car in.  I plan to attach the winch cable to an axle strap looped around the center of the front suspension crossmember and then pull the car up the ramp with the winch.  I'm hoping others have determined if it is advisable to remove the front spoiler and support rods before loading the car into the trailer. 

If I don't remove the spoiler and support rods, is it possible these parts would contact the loading ramp's surface as the car begins to make its way up the ramp?

Well perfect timing! Last weekend I did this very thing you're planning to do and it cost me a spoiler! Instead of driving the car, halfway up the ramp, I started winching it from level ground. It's not the ramp that will hit your spoiler, it's the cable. And, of course, the cable pulled up on the spoiler and broke it.
No biggie, it's a $30 reproduction. Moving forward I will drive the car halfway up the trailer door ramp before hooking up and from there there is no clearance issue.

Yes this helps a lot. I have a 38' Gooseneck with twin landing feet. If you can unhook and raise the front up it helps night and day difference. Get the floor about level with the ramp. With a tag you prob dont want to unhook but can still jack the front up as much as possible while still hooked to the truck. Need to make sure you are on level ground.
