1969Camaro RS/SS Export

I bought a 69 396 RS/SS Convert, was exported to London from factory, #'s matching. The firewall tag has a "u" shape out of it I was told indicates an export? I have a number of the documents from annual Department of Transport from 80's into early 90's. Interesting, unsure of guys want to see images of those or not? How does one track down an owner of such a vehicle from that time, or original owner that ordered if can be done?

Never seen a tag like that - can you post a picture?
Do you have any paperwork that says when it was first registered?
Do you have the NCRS dealer of record info?

Difficult to do these days because of privacy laws.

Yes, it's an export tag. Titled in the UK on 4/1/69.
